We are always delighted to talk with our customers and love to hear about your collection of art glass confections by Hulet Glass.

Hulet Glass was created in 1986 when Dinah and Patty Hulet decided to combine their creative talents to form a small art glass studio. They are both self taught glass artists, with Dinah excelling at the lampworking torch. While Patty also does some lampworking, her artistic focus is in the area of kiln work (fusing, casting and pate de verre).

Initially the goals of Dinah & Patty included supporting themselves and their daughters by creating art glass and marketing it nationally to fine gift shops and galleries. Over the years, Hulet Glass has become known in the art glass world for the quality and appeal of their work. Dinah’s incredible portrait murrine (www.dinahhulet.com) have been exhibited nationally, most recently (in 2008) at the Getty Museum in LA and the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY. Her portrait work has also been represented at SOFA in New York as has Patty’s pate de verre. Not only have the sisters each lectured and taught nationally, they have both been active members of the Glass Art Society, with Dinah previously serving on the Board of Directors. The works created by Hulet Glass have been collected over the years by a small, but growing number of individuals who appreciate the beauty of each individually handmade piece of art.

All creations are made exclusively by Dinah and Patty, no employees or apprentices are ever utilized. In 2007 Dinah’s daughter, Robin, joined the partnership. Having grown up around the glass she was able to take an immediate active role in production. She also has enabled Hulet Glass to create an effective presence on the internet by focusing her efforts in that area.
